“Iwájú” is an original animated series set in a futuristic Lagos, Nigeria, produced by Disney Animation’s
Femi Branch, a veteran Nigerian movie actor recently ignited social media emotions with a statement regarding the animated Disney series Iwaju.
Mr Branch made it known on Instagram that he voices the well-known evil role in the movie Iwaju.
In the video posted, Mr Branch was been watched on action while he voice record at one of Disney’s facilities. Mr Femi Branch is well-known for his baritone voice and very expressive attitude.
Yeah we never knew he can be so adept to voice acting also.
Mr Branch injected his innate sense of comedy into his malicious character in the film, which won him over many fans despite the fact that he played the bad guy.
The Disney-produced film is one of Nigeria’s first animated series, and it has swiftly gained popularity among children.
Ms Simisola Gbademosi, Mr Dayo Okeniyi, Siji Soetan, and Weruche Opia are among the other Nigerian talents on Iwaju in addition to Mr Femi Branch.
“Iwájú” is an original animated series set in a futuristic Lagos, Nigeria. Kugali filmmakers—including director Olufikayo Ziki Adeola, production designer Hamid Ibrahim and cultural consultant Toluwalakin Olowofoyeku—take viewers on a unique journey into the world of “Iwájú,” bursting with unique visual elements and technological advancements inspired by the spirit of Lagos. The series is produced by Disney Animation’s Christina Chen with a screenplay by Adeola and Halima Hudson. “Iwájú” features the voices of Simisola Gbadamosi, Dayo Okeniyi, Femi Branch, Siji Soetan and Weruche Opia.
